•Production of limestone granules to commence in Ishielu by April

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer David Nweze Umahi has commiserated with the family of late John Nwali Elom in Ishielu Local Government Area over the death of their father

The Governor stated this on Sunday during the thanksgiving church service in honour of late Pa John Nwali Elom, father of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious and Welfare Matters, Reverend Father Abraham Nwali.

Governor Umahi applauded Reverend Father Abraham Nwali for being a willing tool in the rebuilding Ebonyi project, describing him as the conscience of the State Executive Council.

"Father is full of intelligence, full of wisdom, full of strategy and yet a very humble person, when you see a gift, cultivate the gift"

The Governor extolled the late Patriarch for living what he described as a saintly lifestyle and urged the children to keep on investing in humanity.

While promising to ensure timely completion of the Agba-Isu and Agba Technical School-Isu roads, Governor Umahi promised to ensure an all-day-long supply of electricity to the area before the end of the year.

The Governor also announced that production of limestone granules would commence in Ishielu Local Government Area before the end of April just as he said the Federal Government has approved the sum of 6 billion naira for the project with another 500 million naira meant to do an investigation of salt deposits for large scale production of salt in the State.

He called on people to always show gratitude for every good gesture, citing the former Governor of the State, Chief Martin Elechi as true evidence of gratitude to humanity.

The Governor appreciated God for changing the narrative of people of the South East Zone economically such that the zone is now in short demand of house boys and girls as the youths are more usefully engaged

He expressed readiness to ensure the vigorous empowerment of Ebonyi people in 2022.

The son of the deceased and Chairman of CAN Ebonyi State who also was the preacher in the mass, Reverend Father Nwali commended the Governor and all State Government functionaries for standing by them during their time of mourning.

"Our dad lived and loved the peace and we are grateful to God. We are also grateful to the people of God especially the first Family"

He encouraged political office holders to always accommodate their subjects knowing that they may not have the opportunity of rewriting their wrongs when the opportunity is gone.
