This the best for the PDP to come back again. If they field a Northern candidate, he'll get the votes of all northern zones where ppl are disenchanted with Apc and Buhari. Similarly, the SE will never vote an Apc candidate unless he is an Igbo which they trust. Currently there is no Igbo man in Apc whom both the igbos and Apc/Buhari trust. Plus,the SW being pathologically an indecisive region of indecisive people, will still give some votes to a northern PDP candidate. It is only this way that the PDP can realise its dream of coming back to the power corridor.

If Pdp fields a southern candidate and Apc does the same, then the entire northern zone will be indifferent. In that case, the Apc candidate will have an edge due power of incumbency.

The best bet for Pdp is to field a northern candidate. This way, they can deliver the entire north+ the SE who traditionally identifies with PDP+ substantial votes from the SW who are historically indecisive.

2023 is for the South East/South South. Anyway, PDP is already a dead party, so doesn't matter.

South East/South South have done six years already under PDP. It is equity that the party allows the north produce it flag bearer comes 2023.

PDP would likely zone the presidency to the North east if APC zones the presidency to the South west.
