One of the fastest growing football academy in Nigeria, Real Carat 24 football academy, Lagos has
signed a football partnership agreement with a second division, South African Vodacom League club, known as Peace Makers football club, a sister club of Chippa United Football Club.

Correspondents on his arrival to Nigeria from South Africa, the head coach of Real Carat 24 Football Academy, Godson Igwe said that the partnership would enable Real Carat 24 football academy to be sending young talented Nigerian footballers to South Africa for further development and exposure Igwe who played for many top Nigerian football clubs like 3SC of Ibadan, before becoming CAF certified coach said that the partnership would also enable Nigerians playing in Nigerian professional football in Nigeria to get clubs in South Africa.

His words, "The main objective of Real Carat 24 football academy is grass root development of football. Our Chairman, Ifeanyi Onwubiko is passionate about taking Nigerian football to the highest level. So, since South Africa has one of the most developed leagues in the world and they also have world class facilities for football development, we decided to sign a partnership with a Vodacom League club, Peace Makers, which is a sister club of one of the biggest clubs in South Africa ,Chippa United Football Club for easy movement of Nigerian amateur and professional footballers to South Africa for further development and exposure and in the end facilitate their joining premiership clubs in South Africa and the other parts of the world. We are starting with five players and already one of our boys, Austin Kwem is playing with Chippa United".
