But there are cases that conservative countries like Italy and Australia order for manufacture of Narrow Guage line with improved speed (can never be like that of standard gauge) for their existing narrow Guage. These specific narrow Guage line cost too much like the Italian own you posted which costs 22.5 million Euros for 4 units. Check here

The width determines the speed a rail line can take just like width of cars. The narrower it is the lesser it's balance because of Center of gravity levels

Took the fast speed train from Beijing to Guangzhou months ago and I can't help but wonder why the "Spirit of Small thinking" has caged the typical Nigerian politician!
