It’s been said that all great leaders are readers. Also, the person you will be in the future depends on the books you read. So, what are you reading right now? What types of content are you consuming?

You should consider reading any of the books that will be stated if you are yet to read them. Each book has made a huge impact in people’s lives. Therefore, apply these teachings in your daily activities.

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

The principles of the compound effect will always be relevant to you. The effect states, “We all are where we are in life as a result of our consistent habits and actions.” Every decision you make compound to create the life you are currently living. Whether you consider your result to this point in your life to be good or bad, they are absolutely the result of the choices you have made consistently over a long period of time.

So, no matter that insignificant action you take every moment of every day, it compounds to making your life a better one in the future. According to Darren Hardy, “You make choices and your choices make you.” You should read this book.

Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins

This book is not for the excuse makers. It is for those who take are willing to take responsibility for where they are in life. David says that, “Most people are only living at 40% of their potential. Most people settle for a life less than their best.”
He also wrote, “We habitually settle for less than our best; at work, in school, in our relationships, and on the playing field or race course. We settle as individuals, and we teach our children to settle for less than their best, and all of that ripples out, merges and multiplies within our communities and society as a whole.” There is so much to learn from this book and if you are determined to accept responsibility for your life, this is for you.
