It was reported that EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) has arrested 29 Yahoo boys inn Awka, Anambra state.

According the EFCC Enugu Zonal office on Tuesday March 9, 2021, the29 (Twenty Nine) suspects were arrested for various offences bordering on cyber Crimes at a hideout in the Anambra state capital


The arrest was sequel to credible intelligence obtained by the Commission on their nefarious activities necessitating an extensive surveillance on them before they were arrested in the early hours of March 9.

The arrested suspects who were arrested are; Izuchukwu Precious Chinonso, Izuchukwu Chukwuebuka Goodness, Ogu Chukwuebuka Kingsley, Iheagwam Sixtus Chijoke, Igwemadu Kenechukwu Emmanuel, Joseph Igwe, Ilegbukem Justin, Ilegbunem Paschal Onyeka, Paul Okoye, Muolokwu Osita, Okechukwu Ifeanyichukwu, Nnamdi Agbo, Chinyeluba Ifeanyi and Mbanugo Ifeanyi.

Others include Bernard Femi, Okafor Ekene, Nwabueze Ifeanyi, Edeh Chukwuebuka, Mgbemefulu Henry, Chinecherem Okpara, Kosisochukwu Chukwuemeka Harrison, Okoroafor Elochukwu, Edeh Gerald, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, Chimezie Ugwu, Aguguom Ifeanyi, Mgbemfulu Collin, Edeh Izuchukwu Dominic and Oputa Ekene.
