Former Who Wants To Be a Millionaire presenter and celebrated journalist, Frank Edoho has joined other Nigerians on Twitter in talking about a new payment system being introduced to Nigeria.

Edoho stated via twitter, with the hashtag, #PaySharpSharp, that he wondered what the next payment system will bring after Nigerians have transitioned from paying for everything with cash to using technology and innovation.


The hashtag #PaySharpSharp refers to a new innovation in payments launching in Nigeria this March. Called NQR, it is a payment system where you can simply pay for goods and services just by scanning a QR code with your banking mobile App.

Many social media users are also excited and say they hope it will be reliable, quick, easy to use and give instant value to business owners when it is rolled out on Monday, March 15th 2021.
