Media/Website/Social Media Officer

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Media/Website/Social Media Officer
(MALE ONLY) to join our team.

The Media/Website/Social Media Officer will report to the CAN Secretariat and also work with the Media team.

You will be responsible for managing and updating the CAN website content, developing and
implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve the
CAN brand across Nigeria and globally.

What You’ll Do
 Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
 Define most important social media KPIs
 Manage and oversee Website and social media content
 Measure the success of every social media campaign
 Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
 Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
 Ensure the CAN website content is informative and appealing
 Collaborate with Media team to upload latest information and public relation content
relating to the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Christian community at large.
 Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
 Communicate with professionals via social media to create a strong online presence for
CAN
 Adhere to rules, regulations and constitution of CAN in all publications
 Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization and present
performance report to the Secretariat.
 Act in the capacity of a Media Assistant to the CAN Media Team

Who You Are:
 BSc degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or relevant field
 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
 Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
 Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and
other social media best practices
 Good understanding of social media KPIs and email marketing
 Familiarity with web design and publishing
 Excellent multitasking & great leadership skills
 Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
 Team player
 Good time-management, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.


Salary - N100,000 – N150,000 depending on experience.
