illicit:Simple! As someone rightly said it, "Giving money to Nigerian government will enable them purchase weapons & ammunitions to continue carrying out their terrorist act, banditry and kidnapping. To me, American govt did not help Nigerian govt at all instead trying to ensure all of us are killed..." This is sad reality Nigeria has found itself under this cursed government of terrorists cc:Saaron 3 Likes |

IPOBTERRORISTS:The answer is a good as yours sir. “The United States has supported Nigeria’s efforts toward effective disarmament, demobilisation, and reintegration of former affiliates as an important element of the broader joint Nigerian and US strategy to counter violent extremism.” A large section of Nigerians had condemned the plan of the Federal Govt to reintegrate repentant terrorists into society while millions of victims of terrorism remain displaced. The Borno State Commissioner for Informat-ion, Babakura Jatau, had told Sunday PUNCH in July that only about 10 per cent of the repentant terrorists were actually fighters while the rest were either children or accomplices. Meanwhile, rights group, Amnesty International, says the US Government has continued to sell weapons to Nigeria despite the rights abuses being perpetrated by the Nigerian military. The Deputy Director for Advocacy and Government Relations for Amnesty International USA, Adotei Akwei, said this in an email interview with The PUNCH. In January 2019, Akwei had written a letter to the foreign relations committees in the US Congress calling for the implementation of the Leahy Law in Nigeria due to the high number of human rights abuses by the Nigerian military. The Leahy Law is an American human rights law that prohibits the US Department of State and Department of Defence from providing military assistance to foreign security force units that violate human rights with impunity. However, Akwei told The PUNCH that one year after Amnesty wrote the letter, that the US authorities had continued to sell weapons to Nigeria in contravention of the Leahy Law.He said the government of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), had failed to address human rights violations. https://punchng.com/why-were-helping-nigeria-rehabilitate-repentant-terrorists-us/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1598082937 2 Likes 1 Share |

Oga forget conspiracy Jonathan messed up big time. Sincerely Nigeria under Jonathan was almost collapsed. There was urgent need to safe the country from collapse. However I'm not think posterity will ever forgive Muhammadu Buhari. I will advice him to go back to his campaign documentary, maybe he will have rethink he can still correct some of the mistakes his administration has made so far. People voted for this man basically the slogan of the party especially the southwest governor's that performed wonderfully under ACN in the Region. Buhari should stop thinking his integrity made him a president get to work make Nigeria feel the change you preached them . Racoon: |

According to the statement, this additional assistance will provide urgently needed support for communities, including through food, health, nutrition, shelter, protection, water, sanitation, and hygiene, and humanitarian coordination program This is good but if you ask me, I will tell you to hold your money but use your technologies on Boko Haram. anyway I think the Us know this but maybe they want to see us fight our fight . how I wish the Fg will sink help from Israel and Russia but if that is done ,is like they're fighting themselves. |

Racoon:US govt know very well that late buhari's regime is a terrorist regime so they won't give funds directly to them. Rather the US govt will channel their money through USAID to provide humanitarian assistance to VICTIMS of boko haram and fulani terrorists. The very fact that US govt are focusing on victims of terrorism shows how humane American govt are. Unlike the fulani terrorist regime that mostly care about wealfare of terrorist murderers via rehabilitation and payment of ransom than the victims of terrorist attacks. When was the last time terrorists running late buhari's regime provided assistance and humanitarian services to victims of fulani terrorists attacks across the country? NONE! Instead the rascals in power are scheming to reward murderers with FREE LAND in the form of Ruga at the expence of victims. |
