I will rather go to North sentinel island than go to Dubai. Dubai don cast... u will see 5000 black Nigerians squatting in one 10x10 square metre room just to cut cost of rent Dubia immigrants are really suffering... sometimes I feel like sending them some naira 3 Likes 1 Share |

Okay. I have a friend who currently has two years visa and working as well. The visa is supposed to expire January next year, but is there anyway she can renew the visa without coming back to Nigeria. Heard she's supposed to leave two months before Visa expires. And what is the law about settling down and having kids there |

Things to know before relocating abroad 1, Your Degree from Nigeria may not matter but your academic brilliance will surely count if the right opportunity comes to you . Please do not be a dullard, brush up on your writing skills, English skills, math skills, science skills, computer skills and any skills that might prove useful. 2 . Know the laws of the country where you are going to avoid wahala in the future, DO NOT BE IGNORANT .eg. Drinking alcohol is generally accepted in the UK , not in Saudi Arabia. 3. Put God first to direct your steps in a new country, the enemy never take a vacation. Expect racism and some form of discrimination- so do not be surprise but with God on your side, all things are possible. 4 Canada is very cold during the December , January , February, UAE is hot, be weather prepared. 5. Know the cost of accommodation before you travel so you will not be surprise. Ask if you do not know and do your research well. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Dubai……. I lived there for 3 years and no regrets. Dubai used to be a place filled with opportunities, but things don change. To get a job now isn’t easy, though people still get. If you have funds, being on your own residence visa is an advantage for you compared to being on a company’s visa ( depends on company). AVOID OVERSTAYING YOUR VISA. Attest your result from Nigeria before travelling. Least paid are cleaners/housekeepers/nannies within the range of #100k to #150k. Construction na die, though I see few Naija guys doing it. There are too many fake agents who promise you job but they themselves are illegal without jobs. They survive on their victim’s money. Finally, if u doing fine in Naija, don’t be fooled with sweet stories to abandon your livelihood for greener abi na desert pastures. 3 Likes |

Dubai is just a stepping stone and might be a blessing if God's grace follow u. For professionals in different fields, u must surely secure job depending on ur field, contact and connections. Who bring u come Dubai matters a lot. For guys without any skill or skills at all, listen to me... M not an agent oh, biko kwa, but if u can manage or start with some menial jobs like HELPERS JOB, CLEANING JOB, CAR WASH JOB, WAITER/WAITRESS, CAR POLISH JOB, RESTAURANT JOB, OFFICE BOY/GIRL, RECEPTIONIST, CONSTRUCTION JOB AND EVEN SECURITY JOB. Plz feel free to Dm via my Gmail. Plz those jobs are not more than 100k to 200k a month. 99% companies in UAE gives accommodation, tFair and feeding for those that works in the restaurant /hotel. Plz let ur expectations not be much. But most importantly, Pray to Almighty Christ before u emback on the journey to UAE. It's a nice place to an extent, but sun dey oh plentttttttyyyy during summer, just Hustle like 2yrs or thereabouts, save some dirhams and plz on Fridays go to Deira mkt look for some cheap stuff u can send back home through cargo and make some cool cash. Avoid Oloshos for Ajman, Abu shagara in Sharjah and The ones at Deira DUBAI. Trust me u go dey alright after awhile, then look towards Europe or go into business fully. Mind u most jobs are 10hrs /12hrs. Plz if u have any good Hustle da gives u at least 50knaira every month in NIGERIA and u don't have any skill AT ALL.... Plz don't come to UAE . May God strengthen us, bless our little efforts, guide and direct us always. AMEN. 8 Likes 1 Share |
