Kano is the most dirtiest place to consume food or beverages. Yes it looks Abit modern, but if you go deep into their ways and habits, omo e go shock you.

I hope this isn't E coli outbreak. The EHEC (Entero-Haemorrhagic E. coli) variant comes with Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome (Breakdown of blood cells and passage of same in the urine, renal failure can result, reduced platelet in the blood.

E. coli is a common faecal bacteria numerous in human gut and the bacteria can easily find their way into drinking water. It is responsible for variants of diseases such as Diarrhoeal diseases, Urinary tract infection (both gender), Honeymoon cystitis (females), pyelonephritis, Meningitis in neonates and adults and can also cause sepsis in adults.


Hmmmm...... sounds more like it based on the symtoms. But the ones in charge suspect adulterated and expired products. Clueless people exposing themselves. This is a spread they need to stop immeduately.... but.... we already know.

This has nothing to do with sachet Water, many Hausa/Fulani people are not hygienic.
They will wash with any thing so long it's water, they can eat anywhere , sleep anywhere.

I have them clustered in a settlement closer to one of my business area...That place is such a mess that I considered involving health authorities before one wealthy guy came and fixed their mess...
