we are all in one same titanic, the youth and the masses that are below the deck won't understand what's happening on the deck until they gets there for another generations to talk about them too like this.
But anyway I will do as I must do, kneeling down for the emir may symbolise respect but these useless so called leaders in government have made it look like nothing coz it's nowadays kings no longer have any single power over government anymore. Infact the kings are just figure head. The so called el rufai can remove king tomorrow.

Are Nigerians supposed to binge on this useless display of hypocrisy in order to get satiated?

This ain't news worthy in my humble opinion, neither is it character building.

Anyways, I know he might be using it to spite a perceived rival, Tinubu, who in his own useless display of pride and disrespect for traditions failed to accord the deserved postural recognition for oòni of Ifè. That despicable attitude of Tinubu was a sharp contrast to Obasanjo's full prostrate posture, in a true display of cultural norms, when he paid a visit to the Oòni.

But this does not in anyway mean that El-rufai is so respectful or has respect for traditions. It's all about politics and like customary traditions and royalty in Nigeria have been taken to the cleaners by politicians, this is just one of such moves the royal pawns are used for in the game of political chess.
