The dead bodies of two children were found, decomposing in an abandoned Honda car recently in Delta State. See the pictures here!

Tragedy struck recently in the Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, where the decomposing bodies of two kids were discovered in an abandoned vehicle.


The decomposing bodies of the two children were found in a Honda car recently in Delta State

The deceased have been identified as Fega Izakpa (aged 7) and Kelvin Izakpa (aged 10). Their corpses were found in a Honda car with a registration number AAG 815 BKW. The vehicle was reportedly parked in a house last Friday around 2:50 pm, along Okpogboro Street. From what we learnt, it was the stench of the corpse that caught the attention of people around, where a search party was organized to get to the bottom of the matter.

CSP Aliyu Shaba, who happens to be the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at the Abraka Police Station, in the company of officers under his command, went to the scene of the incident to evacuate the bodies.


It was the stench from the decomposing bodies that drew the attention of passerby to the vehicle

Odiri Izakpa, who is the mother of the deceased children, revealed that she last saw her children on Thursday. Eniku Aghogho Tayo, who has been identified as the owner of the car where the children were found, is said to be resident in Warri. The Honda car, according to information getting to us, has been parked in that spot for almost 5 years now.

DSP Edafe, who happens to be the Spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, while confirming this story, claimed that the owner of the vehicle has been apprehended and his vehicle confiscated amid the further investigation.
