Starting 2019 you would have thought the north was minutes away from owning the whole of Nigeria. Fulani most specifically. Now the region is on fire and from the looks of it, the current crisis is worst than Boko Haram. It's very obvious nobody is controlling it and the political class is visibly overwhelmed. The 'bandits' have even hijacked the mining the Buhari regime thought would be their route to replacing oil. The Middle Belt has firmly disassociated with the North. Food blockade was a failure and proved the north has no leverage power, especially without the middle belt, Ruga camps are being burnt down, herdsmen are fleeing, some are repenting and confessing the government is supporting them. Buhari is absent as always, kyari is dead, the military is splintered beyond repair and regions have armed themselves. Even more telling, all of the advocates of fulani hegemony are suffering politically and the region has been isolated. The globally famous illiteracy of the region has also come back to bite, and Hausas are no longer lining up to fight Fulani battles as was the case in the past. In fact, the two are fighting each other intensely as we speak.

Seems like the usual actors bit off more than they can chew. Any one else notice this?

The north is the real problem of this country....

They create insecurity in their region and spread them through Herdsmen to other states.....

They have a common goal and if nothing is done to curtail this menace and massive killings of farmers, this country might just exist till 2022, owing to the massive disturbance of peace by the Fulanis in a far region from their origin.

You get hosted and you in turn forget your origin and begin to form a community and a leader and boom a caliphate is made and war drums are heard.

Seems all these regions, especially a particular region that said they wanted Niger Delta to run out of crude before they call for separation, will first be finished off by the Herdsmen before Niger Delta will run out of crude. cheesy cheesy

Igbo man concentrate on your region and stop pocknosing into other people's affair. It's you guys that will open a thread on crisis in West and north while the East is burning. Are lives in West and North more precious than those in the East?

The core north is wasting our money on these endless war.

Imagine the alternative foregone with the amount of money spent yearly on weapons of war?

Imagine what those billion of dollars could do for the country? In all these waste, it is the oil producing areas that I pity. When will they ever enjoy the benefits of their resource?

North has ruined this country!

You mean the insane malady in the north is not at all or will never spread to Kebbi?

Keep deceiving yourself. Underreporting of the malady will soon be over reported.

What were you expecting before? Infact only Nigeria has tolerated their excess for this long.
From Central Africa Republic to Senegal even beyond, Fulani's have always fall into disrepute.
It's just a matter of time before the meal the whole of Nigeria has been cooking for them get done.

IMPLOSION IT MUST BE. MACBAN, THE SULTAN, ALL THE NW EMIRS AND BUHARI HAVE BITTEN MORE THAN THEY CAN CHEW. THEY HAVE PULLED THE TRIGGER AND PLAYED WITH THE TAIL OF A LION. THEY HAVE PLAYED ON THE INTELLIGENCE OF YORUBA YOUTHS, TRADITIONAL RULERS AND THEIR GOVERNMENTS. AND THEY'LL PAY FOR THEIR EXPENSIVE JOKES.
