He took a loan from one of the Loan Apps in January 2021 and for some reasons could not meet up in payment on the due date.
Within days, the Loan app tormented his life with sms to all his contacts; friends, family members, in-laws, business associates etc defaming and calling him a fraudster, criminal and so on claiming he defrauded a Chinese Company and on the run over a loan of N20k

With all the embarrassments he got after few who got the defaming sms called him, he clears all the outstanding debts and deletes all loan apps completely from his device vowing never to have anything to do with any one of them anymore.

Fast forward two months later 19th March 2021....

He got a threat message from this very loan app calling him out again.

Calling him a fraudster, criminal and how his name has been submitted to Lagos State SCID, email sent to Banks to put his account on lieu and how he will be arrested in a couple of days.

Few minutes later, a friend called to ask why he was still owing these loan apps and getting further embarrassments as he just got another defaming sms.

The young man was so shocked that he immediately called the number that sent the sms and with even further rude response, the lady from the loan app who picked the call went ahead to insult him abit as soon as he mentioned and insisted he was not owing their company. She hung the call severally times on him but he persisted until she requested for his full name for verification. She confirmed he wasn't owing and rather than apologizing she only said 'it was a mistake' and she hung the call again without uttering an apology.

Conversations were all recorded...

If you were in his shoes what action would you take? or what advise would you give him?

Hahahaha! Empty threats from yeye company.

To achieve all they listed in that screenshot, it will cost them up to 20K you borrowed.
WHO GO COME LOSE grin grin

All they do is put fear in the mind of chicken livered borrowers.

IT SEEMS YOU BORROWED WITH THE APP INSTALLED ON YOUR MAIN PHONE?

People now use phones stored with fake contacts.

When you default they will keep messaging contacts that dont know you. Hahahaha!

Sometimes things dont go as planned and anybody can default.
