Youths in Ekiti State People's Democratic Party under the umbrella of Ekiti PDP Movement, EPM has called for the immediate removal of the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Hon. Bisi Kolawole, for anti-party activities, abandonment of duty and sabotage.

In a statement signed by the chairman, Hon. Adeyemi Oluwole from Iso/Osi, the group wondered why Kolawole, would deliberately refuse to campaign for the party's candidate throughout the electioneering period for the by-election seat for Ekiti east state constituency.

The statement reads;
"We observed with great disgust that Otunba Bisi Kolawole elected to stay away from the campaign train even when his position as the chairman of PDP in Ekiti state requires him to lead such assignment"

"Rather than emulate leaders like Chief Segun Oni, Prof Olusola Eleka, Senator Abiodun Olujimi and other leaders that showed support for the party's candidate and mobilised for votes, Kolawole chose to thread on the part of political ignomy"

"It is obvious that the chairman is not interested in the affairs of our party and is neckdeep to destroy it before moving to APC.,

"Therefore, what is required of the leadership of the party at all levels is to immediately remove him from his position as party chairman, and expel him from the party without delay".

"Without any iota of apology, we state that the continuous stay of Kolawole as the helmsman of our party in Ekiti state will spell doom for everyone especially as we prepare for 2023 governorship election".
