Retired General Mohamodu Buhari, recently joined the league of leaders, who for whatever reason had wept publicly in their life time.

This event has brought back the memory of "The Weeping Generals"; a rare movie directed and produced by The late General Sani Abacha between 1997 and 1998, Featuring General Oladipo Diya, Major-General Abdulkarim Adisa and few others. The movie which was premiered at the Aso Rock cinema saw our royal fathers in their traditional robes sat at the gallery to enjoy a true life story acted by unusual actors. Some of our Amala politics crooner were also privileged to be paid (instead of the other way round) to view the movie, highly rated by them.

The royal fathers, especially the Oni of Ife, latter commended the skilled producer - whose boys also got kudos, for the innovatory conversion of another General's back to ironing board - for a job well done.  The death of the talented producer few months later, purportedly from the forbidden fruit served by an imported eve, robbed the rest of us the privilege of watching the movie as a home video.

Son of the late producer, who was also said to have participated behind the scene in the controversial movie, is a gubernatorial candidate of the latest, weeping general's party.

The question is: are u  with General Buhari or  with Tinubu - the new possessor of[i] laughter license[/i]?
