The SC will constitute another one before this week ends, trust on that.

The SC MUST sit. They will only hear the APPEAL once. That's why the CJN will use someone who is a bit familiar with the Imo case.

Bayelsa and Seriake are on the table.

But he bungled a case by not ruling on it until the time elapsed with rumours strong that he collected some money for it.

Jonathan wanted to push him but it was reported Aloma Mukhtar refused; he was placed on acting 3x, until he was pressured to resign for Bulkachuwa.

I am not aware, they must....otherwise the NJC will come hard on them.

Aloma Mukhtar took him personal by writing to GEJ that he was incompetent. Infact, if Adamu had sailed through in the NJC, sources say Mukhtar was ready to pick a SC judge as PCA.

You know hierarchy-wise, the PCA is equivalent to a SC judge excepting the CJN and Deputy Chairman of NJC (that is second-in-command)

I can't remember the case, but Adamu was in the North at the time.

Yes....but pre-election cases must take utmost priority.

Onnoghen and Ekwo stressed this many times.

If you remember, the Appeal Court case in Ibadan....there was no time, infact there was confusion but they just made a judgement because of time.

So, the SC must say something. Even if it means upholding totally the appeal Court jusgement or outrightly nullifying it.

They must sit and they must make a pronouncement. They don't have a choice.

With the time this close, some of them might not even want to handle it, but someone must handle it.

Kekere-Ekun is familiar with a party and not with the case. APC is only shivering now because there was no dissent. It becomes very difficult, because with the time and everything...a SC judge might just regurgitate the Appeal Court Judgement, unless the APC already has someone with a ready-made judgement.

The person they will pick to handle it is likely going to still be in that panel...I don't know the other two persons.

Who even says Ibezim won't win the case? Just that the two lower Courts have made it difficult.

Leave Buhari out of it o, he has always shown to stand aloof when two eggheads intend to kill themselves. Ask Yari and Marafa.

The direction of how it will go will be much clearer when the CJN constitutes the panel.
