After reviewing the collapsing security architecture in Nigeria,I believe the isreali civil guard model is the best and only solution to solve Nigeria internal security challanges.



HOW THE ISREALI CIVIL GUARD WORKS

The Isreali civil guard, are trained civilian volunteer force that assist the isreali police and government to checkmate crime within their cities and towns.In the Isreali civil guard, participants undergo series of paramilitary training and are armed with weapons like the M4 carbine,pump action rifles, and after that they would be deployed within their communities and towns.



Isreali civil guards personnels work in shifts,that is e.g Mr A can volunteer at least a minimum amount of minutes or hours to participate in the civil guard when it's his turn in the shift calender to perform his security duties.Imagine a town like ibadan in oyo state for example,with a trained and active volunteer force of at least 1,000 men patrolling the city round the clock and only change duties on ths expiration of their shift volunteer time e.g 30 minutes or one hour,the town would be well secured from criminals and miscreants whom might want to pepertrate crimes making the city to have a drop rate in crimes by 60 to 70 percent.



Nigeria is too large and the Nigerian police force doesn't have enough officers to adequately secure every corners of the nation,rather the citizens can be trained to defend themselves,apprehend and turn over criminals to the police,which would make arrest of evil men in our midst easier.



A well trained volunteer force of civil guard guards who be much more effective than than the vigilante security system currently adopted by most state governors across Nigeria because it would provide adequate personnels to protect all areas at a reduced cost for state government across Nigeria.

The only insecurity Nigeria is experiencing right now are the fulanis bandits everywhere. Until north and their leaders in connivance with their locals decides to stop patronizing and funding bandits,nothing will change even with 100m volunteer guards.

Until north drops this their expansionist agenda, insecurity in Nigeria will persist.

How can a particular region become a torn in the flesh of the entire nation.

yeah but at least we can start with the civil guard first,the citizens must be trained in knowledge of defence and that would be the first step to attain security.

maybe i would write an official letter to the governor of my state and contact his security adviser to see if they can consider this option because it would be a first crucial step to security

but the state governments can give it a trial,it's about our survival been threatened now by evil external elements,all hands must be on deck.
