Armed bandits have killed two staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara State, Usama Nazifi and Bashiru Muhammad.

The gunmen who raided a low-cost area of Kaura Namoda in the early hours of Wednesday, March 24, shot Nazifi, 37, and Muhammad, 39, dead, according to reports.

According to Nazifi’s brother, who spoke to journalists, bandits broke into the deceased’s home around 2:30 a.m. and demanded that he open his door, but he screamed and called for help.

“When my brother realised that the unknown gunmen invaded his house, he raised alarm shouting for help from his neighbours, and after asking his family to go back inside the house, he went straight to the main gate of the house to know what was exactly happened but unfortunately, the gunmen opened fire on him” he said.
