We are not surprised, because they are benefitting from the union while the ordinary Nigeria suffers.
Present one reason why Nigeria must be forced together, and I will give 100 reasos why we should not.

Why would any person with a brain and reasons like a human being declare his support for ONE NIGERIA? Let me ask these series of questions again:

1. Are you proud to belong to a country where you or your generations have no basic necessities of life...food, shelter and clothing?
2. Are you proud to belong to a country where access to good health care is only reserved for the rich and the well connected?
3. Are you proud to belong to a country where basic infrastructure like constant power supply, clean water and good roads are only a DREAM?
4.Are you proud to belong to a country where you or your generations have no future and control of their own destiny?
5. Are you proud to belong to a country where your government can not guarantee your safety and security or that of your generations?
6. Are you proud to belong to a country that would sponsor and allow foreign invaders to come on your property and destroy your crops, intimidate you and your community, rape your women and children, kill your men women and children, and yet NOBODY is brought to justice?
7. Are you proud to belong to a country where the government values the life of an animal more than that of yours and your generations?
8. Are you proud to belong to a country where your government views you and your generations as CONQUERED people?
9. Are you proud to belong to a country that sees you and your generations as third class citizens?
10. Are you proud to belong to a country where your success in life is determined by the government rather than yourself?
11. Are you proud to belong to a country where your educational system is a JOKE amongst the comity of nations?
12. Are you proud to belong to a country where your graduates have no job prospects years after leaving the university?
13. Are you proud to belong to a country where the government does not support innovation and creativity by putting policies in place?
14. Are you proud to belong to a country where the government decides WINNERS and LOSERS?
15. Are you proud to belong to a country where the government promotes CORRUPTION?
16. Are you proud to belong to a country where the government has NO REGARDS for the rule of law?
17. Are you proud to belong to a country that does not care about your welfare and treats foreigners better that its own citizens?
18. Are you proud to belong to a country that believes that all men are NOT created equal, and NOT endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, such as Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness?

If you answer NO to any of the above questions, then absolutely, there's no need to advocate for NIGERIA to remain as ONE country. To advocate otherwise means that either you have no brain, hence no reasoning ability or you're just mentally deranged. Only those who are beneficiaries of such a a badly damaged system would advocate to keep NIGERIA ONE and would do any and everything to defend such indefensible.

Those Nigerian money you all are stealing will soon hook you. Why won't you be in support of one Nigeria when you're so comfortable at your homes and enjoying wealth?

This guy is not in this country. their salary is just 900k but their allowances is 27.1 million naira when you add their salary it becomes 28million per month for each of them. that's outside their annual holiday benefits, health care and travel benefits which is around 50million (annually). Also, they are given 500 million annually for their constituency development which they will use about 5 million to repair road in just one community for the whole four years of their tenure and the rest money belongs to them.

As a matter of fact a HoR member earns between 27m and 32m while a Senator don't go home with less than 40m every month.

Do these so-called southern legislators even understand that Nigeria copies American presidential system of government, and that anytime military dictators from say, south of the USA, take over political power and use land mass or population to divide the larger land mass and more populated southern USA states like Texas into say 4 new states, but divide the smaller land mass and less populated northern states like New York into say, 2 new states, political and economic powers are thus shifted to the southern states; from that the north USA states are politically and economically emaciated?
This is like what northern military dictators who proliferated too many (19 states) states in the northern region but left an average of 8.5 states in the two southern regions that formed Nigeria at independence with the northern region did.
Land mass or population is never used as criterion to proliferate too many states in a region with larger land mass or population in a country formed by different regions. How
