Enilolobo Resuscitates Mandate group, Holds Inaugural Meeting in Alimosho

In flagrant disregard and disrespect for the directives of the Governor's Advisory Council (GAC), Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC), and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that all political groups, meetings, and congregations be disbanded, Enilolobo is set to reawaken the defunct group in Alimosho. Notable among the disbanded groups were the Mandate Group and Justice Forum.

Alhaji Abdulahi Enilolobo, the Chairman of the defunct Mandate group has made good his threat of resuscitating the group, ignoring whose anyone ox may be gored without exception. In his recent rant with some party faithful, he called out on Hon. Tajudeen Olusi, Cardinal Odunmbaku, Hon. Tajudeen Balogun, the State Party Chairman of APC, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, where he labeled them as meddlesome interlopers. He accused them of being jealous of his rising political profile in the party and state. He accused the group of being behind his removal and that they had a skirmish meeting with the other members of the GAC which had His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola in attendance to hoodwink Asiwaju Tinubu to agree to the disbandment of the Mandate Group, shortly after he was made the Chairman of the group.

The Alimosho self-acclaimed leader wondered why Balogun, Olusi, Obasa and others remained silent when the group was without a substantive leader. To drive home his point and threat, Enilolobo recently instructed all elected and appointed political office holders in Alimosho and beyond to start mobilizing resources for the logistics to be used in bringing back the Mandate Group in Lagos State. To test run the project and his strength, he instructed the party faithful to mobilize massively for a meeting under the guise of the APC Constituency meeting to converge in Mosan Primary School on Saturday for the inaugural meeting, before spreading the revival to other Local Governments in Lagos.

In the memo sent across the Constituency, Enilolobo ordered that all party faithful are to wear the Mandate Group CAP and GELE (head gear) to the venue. The circulated memo reads;

APC.................NEXT LEVEL!!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Thanks
Comrade Alani Babatunde,
Media PA To Alhaji Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo,
Chairman, Mandate Group

From the content of the memo, it can be confirmed that the motive of the meeting is actually to resuscitate the Mandate Group and not necessarily a party meeting, as is being promoted in some quarters.

In an earlier meeting had by Alimosho G-18 leaders, money and other incentives had been arranged for attendees of the announced meeting. As usual, a non-available sum of fifty million naira (₦50,000,000.00) was donated by Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi, whom Enilolobo and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola had told to key into the project as it would be a great opportunity for him to push his third term bid as Senator of Lagos west.

Meanwhile, a group identified by the name, Alimosho Concerned Residents circulated a notice titled "Security Alert! Alimosho Constituency Meeting". In the memo, the group exposed plans of the warring factions in Alimosho to launch violence at the proposed meeting, as it said the leaders had hired hoodlums to cause mayhem at the gathering. It went further to warn party members and residents to be wary of such political gatherings at this crucial time.
