Sheabutter:

Sheabutter is one of the most exciting products to trade internationally because, depending on where it is going to, who the buyer is, and what they are using it for, the profit margins could be anywhere from 30% to over 300%! This makes sheabutter one of the most exciting products to trade internationally.

The fact that the cost of producing shea butter as of January 2022 is a total of approximately $1,700 to $2,200 per metric tonne makes the shipping of shea butter from Nigeria an interesting prospect. On the other hand, shea butter could be sold to some direct users around the world for between $2,800/mt and sometimes more than $6,000/mt.

Cocoa Beans of the Standard Quality

Cocoa beans are one of the agricultural products that are in the highest demand all over the world. Their prices are governed on a global scale, and the profit margins on each sale could range anywhere from 20% to 35%, depending on the method by which the products are procured and the country from which the customer originates.

The profit margins can be significantly increased by processing cocoa beans into cocoa butter or chocolates and then exporting these products. This can increase the profit margins from the range of 25% to between 35% and 50%. Additionally, the further it is broken down, the greater the potential profit margins.

To summarize it all

Despite the fact that there are hundreds of other agricultural products that can be exported profitably from Nigeria and other parts of Africa to international buyers located all over the world, it is important to note that these agricultural products that were mentioned above are more commonly exported profitably as long as you are dealing with the appropriate type of buyers.

You should also make an effort to target the markets in Europe and the United States because consumers in those regions are willing to pay up to two times or even more what consumers in Asia are willing to pay for the goods or services you have to offer.
You will always be in a great position to grow a successful export business if you locate and concentrate your marketing efforts on the appropriate locations in the world.

The importance of this industry cannot be over emphasized. We need healthy food on our table all the time and Agriculture is the pathway. There is report by the "Thrive Institute" that states that about 2 billion people are not getting quality life giving nutrients to fight diseases and reach their full potential.
It believes that the world most serious problem is hidden hunger which arise as a result of lack of vitamins, minerals and micro nutrients only whole food can provide. It further states the hidden hunger is the cause of our social problems; kids missing school, more orphans and adult missing work due to illness etc and all the world need is nutrient disease fighting food.
