Borno Is catching up with oil rich Delta and Bayelsa State. The governors that have ruled Delta and Bayelsa should be sent to life imprisonment for how they have mismanaged the state allocations and 13% derivation since 1999.

Borno state led by Zulum has made gigantic strides in the state.

So Borno is only comparable with states with reasonable resources and averagely performing well, not some states still suffering from lack of portable water in this present age?

Is it that those states cant sustain themselves or their leaders are attending clubs with their money?

Delta and Bayelsa are on another level. They have received thrillions in allocations since 1999 with nothing to show for it and are dragging feet with war ravaged Borno state when it comes to infrastructural developments.

Between Bayelsa and Delta I can't even tell you which one is worse when it comes to corruption. The incompetent governors that ruled the state, went on to cause more havoc at federal level, one went on to become President and another one is currently the Minister of State for Petroleum handling the $1.5 billion dollar rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt refineries.

Yewa people it's like you don't need to relocate to cotonu again o

Take a bus to Borno

At the topic, who are the people that would be attending these schools because borno pictures are always devoid of people

Btw op do you remember that federal government budgeted 64billion to rebuild fence of a borno school, so there are alot of monies going to that state via the buhari Nepotism back door.

The payment of ransom to northern elements and state sponsors have open our eyes to see north gets more money than that federal allocation they see

It would shock you to know they get more than 13% derivation

There is Boko Haram that diverts billions of dollars to north east through arms purchase

There is also North East Development Commission now

That is the only way to stop the insurgency by having an educated population. The current Governor, Babagana Zulum, was a former Professor at University of Maidugiri.

cool Very impressive by their governor. If not for the bad luck of the gworo chewing jihadist, the country would have been progressing on all spheres. A stupid president is always elected by stupid people.

Enugu is facing a water shortage right now. Nigeria has leaders worse than Shina Rambo and Anini at the affairs.

Jealous, simple. What is the population of terrorists in Sambisa forest compare to the larger population of Northerners? Why would the view of the few elements represent the views of the larger population? Talk another thing

Keep up the folly even Kano can't catch up in 30 years. Delta with multiple cities, high FDI, trained and educated youth, home of Nollywood in 60yrs Borno won't smell it.

So you will rather be a governor in Borno than Delta, guy go take your pills.

Some people will just open thread and start talking nonsense even river state cannot be compare to Delta state. Delta state have multiple cities unlike other States in Nigeria,I don't understand his basis of comparing borno with Delta state.
Is base on human capital, development, FDI, poverty index or education.Borno should be compare to Kano or Agbor not Delta state.

Delta receives the highest allocation in the country. How you can you come and disgrace your generation by defending the fantastically corrupt state governments since 1999.

The state should be a mini Dubai by now.

Which high FDI?All the oil companies Shell,Chevron,Schlumberger,Halliburton have left due to youth restiveness and 'devy'.

Look at Akwa Ibom-Victor Attah and Godwills Akpabio chopped belleful, but still embarked on massive infrastructural developments. Bayelsa has produced some of the the worst governors from Alameishegha,Goodluck Jonathan,Timipyre Sylva,Dickson and the current clown Diri.

Give Bayelsa Nigeria's budget to develop and it will still remain a failed state. The state is barren despite the massive revenue and 13% derivation it has received. The current and past governors have a practice of owing workers salaries.

not at all.
they lack the basic requirement for development. forget the media hype. most of state government development efforts starts and ends in the metropolis. try using Gombe. even at that most southern states are head and shoulders above most northern states. scold ur elites for doing very little but stop using failed entities to compare them
