Lol... Its a monthly target, so I don't care about the week. I will not blow the account, never, and I will meet up with my target after 12 months.

how many pairs do you trade..

Seems excessive to me.

Do you have another means of employment?

Or is FX trading your sole occupation for now?

If you've got other things you're doing, it might be difficult keeping a full rein on trades, especially during periods of high volatility such as when significant trade news and events occur.

P.S.
I might be tempted to join in your challenge after all. smiley

NetValueFX:

Another way to calculate it is using geometric progression.
Where A= is initial capital. R=1.29, n-1= 12(month)

You're right.

I've done above 50% in one month several times, but I took quite careless and risky trades that would not ordinarily be sustainable in the long term.

My problem has always been with discipline, knowing when to log-off after successful/failed trades, and employing sound capital management. Those have been my challenges.

I assume you might have taken these into consideration before embarking on your challenge. Just keep that at the back of your mind while trading, even if that'd hamper your chances of hitting your target.

Best of luck.

I am quite busy with my real hustle. I enter and monitor my trade on mobile. So its not much of a hassle. I look for signals in the morning and evening. Anything I don't see at these two periods in a day doesn't get traded.

Your trade explorer. You know what i'm talking about.

Don't you think you taking on too much risk.

If half of those trades go against you, you'll have serious DD which will be hard to come back from.

59 of (them) which are in loss.

He wants to compound gain every month at 29% monthly profit but currently running at -10% loss in the 3rd week of a month, he has only one week left to make the least 29% he claimed to achieve monthly. How?

I presumed he already had a strategy that he had been using.

I don't think there's any strategy that'll allow for 75 open position at a time.

What's his risk management like.

Still following your 29% profit monthly challenge....
% profit currently at -17.5%
6 trading days remaining for this 1st month of trading.
Oga I am not a scalper. That remaining six days is more than enough to meet up

he has a lot of open trades, I find that very disturbing. he does not use a stop loss too, still very disturbing. still watching like others.

I believe in you.

But your risk management is what i don't get.

The positions you opened in my opinion is too much

It also seems to me you are chasing the market (instead of you to cut your losses and move on, you keep entering more positions on the same instrument).

Anyway as i said earlier, No pressure, let's see how this goes.

He overleveraged his attitude and ego about his monthly profit in his previous posts, at least, I got to know about him from his earlier posts......I actually admire his desire and courage but this I see he's doing is a nay nay!

I can open 200 trades, it's my account not yours.
I will never trade like you and you can never trade like me, you don't even have the knowledge to run 100trades for two weeks.

I understand you point, however, I will adjust a little bit from next set of trades. I know exactly what to do to cut down my trades. However, it will never be in the range of two trades. Will always be above 10 trades

Here's why i keep emphasizing about risk management.

This is not my account, I came across this and it shows with the right sharpe ratio you can be ahead as a technical trader.

You can search for yourselves" there can be only one one top dog fx blue " on google.

Check the last column of the image, you'll see out of 600 + trades, he won only 222 lost over 400 yet made a 4000+ ROI.

which means that in almost every 6 trade he took he won only 2 and lost 4 (he cut his losses short amd lets his winners ride).

This account spans 3 years from 2016 - 2019

In terms of CFDs due to leverage usage opening too many trades isn't advisable.

If this were the equities market. You can hold as many numbers of shares in thousands of companies - nobody cares because there's no use of leverage.

You can even ask your broker to give you margin to buy more positions.

hahahaha, why should I run 100trades.......you are jonzing grin grin grin

Sure you can't, because you don't have the skills.
I can trade a fews pairs and still ball. Mention your best pair, we both create an account and trade on those pairs only and using only one lot size and same broker and same SERVER. AFTER 30 DAYS LET'S SEE WHO HAS MORE PIPS AND BIGGER BALANCE.

We all have what works for our emotions. I don't just like stop losses. I use it with one of my account though. However, like I said earlier I will cut down on the trades after I close these ones. I promise.

This would be my last reply to your post. I don't want to bring myself down to the level of a teenager. I understand the fact that many kids without real life experiences are full of this faceless forum seeking attention.
