The event kicked off with a press conference held at the Eko Hotel and Suite Victoria Island. In attendance was the playwright Nobel prize luminary, Wole Soyinka, who openly expresses his support for the event. Also in attendance were Jim Lewis, Stephen Hendel, Sahr Ngaujah (who plays fela) and some other members of the cast including 'fela's brides' and dancers. |
