Meet the first man to import a bullet proof car into Nigeria. He was killed despite the car.

Chief Samuel Ládòkè Akíntọ́lá, otherwise known as S.L.A., was a Nigerian politician, lawyer, aristocrat and orator. He was born in Ogbomosho, of the then Western Region.

Ladoke Akintola is a Nigerian politician, He was born on the 6th of july 1910 and was assassinated on 15th of January 1966.

He got a degree in law and was called to bar in 1949. He returned from the UK in 1949 and joined up with other educated personnel.

from the western part of Nigeria to form a political party named Action Group (AG) under the leadership of cheif obefemi awolowo.

In 1964, he imported a bullet proof into Nigeria, The car was estimated to cost about 8000 pounds. The brand of the car was Mercedes Benz.

Two years after he imported the car, he was assassinated in the first military coup in Nigeria.

The money he ought to have used to touch lives positively, he wasted it on one car that can't save him from death.

When bible says vanity upon vanity all is vanity people who think they are wiser will make joke of it. He died of assassination after purchasing bullet proof to protect himself. Is it not effort in futility?
