Zamfara State Police Command in collaboration with the Peace and Reconciliation Committee has secured the release of ten persons kidnapped by bandits who stormed Kaya village in Maradun LGA in the early hours of Tuesday.

The victims, according to the Command’s Public Relation Officer, Muhammed Shehu, include seven women and three men. They were abducted and taken to Sububu forest but eventually released following Governor Mohammed Bello Matawalle initiated peace process.
