Did you read the article, displaced by boko haram...can you think of that at the sound of war?

Seems you don't even get the situation of the place. Your suggestion is good but not appropriate.

It was lack of factories that caused Bokoharam in the first place,
It just means that the North would never tackle her root problems!
Besides the man said security is better under Buhari

No, no, no, no, no, this ain't right...
Kind gesture, I agree.

Asides the fact that both amount and household figure are highly exaggerated,

If we keep giving fish, and never thought how to fish, we'll always be one step forward and three steps backward... That's our problem in Nigeria, it's not as if this displaced people were well to do or middle class citizens in the first place, they've always been poor, no offense...

Such brainless and propagandrous leaders we have, what a shame.
Learn to appreciate good people, it encourages them to do more, no one is perfect. By the way, I disagree with you saying the households figures are highly exaggerated.

misplaced priorities... instead of giving them basic needs na want he dey give them, for how long will the 5bags of grains and the cash serve them or will he be back when they exhaust it

instead of putting the millions into good use to provide adequate securities for them so they can go back to there villages, he dey there dey fool himself with another millions budget for it whereas he won't even spend up to that amount. smh

Monies given at hand by government officials to its citizens can never be accounted for...
This tactics has deepened corruption more and more in the nigerian state.

So the money what Will they use it for?
Food, grains given is understood, the money is for what cos by ur assertion they r displaced n the community is at war.
A warring community doesnt have markets or any social gathering where economic activities happen.
So again i ask why give them money, how and where will they spend the money?

Good gesture but tp what end?.. what is the longevity of this?. N325m would set up a Nigerian renowned factory in that community that would employ and feed those families for life directly and indirectly.. bags of grains or maize would always finish and they would return back to square one..

The Govt should start an initiative.."One factory per village", it would be indigenous, most specifically and restricted on the major raw material/produce of that village/community for cost effectiveness.. that is the only way to get the manufacturing mantra kick started. Alongside rapid development of rural areas..

I asked the same question oo, where did he get 325m from, is it his salary? If its govt money, why not setup something for the people rather than giving cash? Mediocrity for this country na highest. Go there now, basic aminities no dey, no good health care, nothing nothing

Good gesture but that amount is questionable...

The 100k household also seems exaggerated

You see this prof, he monitors things himself ranging from identification/registration of IDP's and buying n sharing of food items. He is not those type of lazy governors that depend on report from the field, he goes there himself to get data's. Remember he was attacked around that axis and has to travel again by road to supervise how these items r distributed to the people. He is just a good leader with good intention towards his people.

There r lot of professors that failed in their given assignment n were convicted because of corruption. So, it's not about being educated but about conscience.

Exactly. Instead of sharing public funds then asking pastors to build factories from private funds, let them build factories from public funds.

Not deceived like that cause he had contested about 4 times without winning... But I think people just wanted a change of party and APC was it to do the job. Unfortunately this baggage came with it cos he had massive northern support.

Too sad he is most inept undecided

They don't even have power supply.

Boko haram destroyed it. It was restored and still, the blackness in their ideology won't make them leave the power station be. Yet they use artillery which is produced of the Western education.

Factories is also become instant targets for the demons in shrouded bodies before they get completed while the contractor will certainly be kidnapped and killed...

As if pastors are put in care of public funds.... The masses receive peanuts from their governments at Federal, States and local level and they are rewarded with shouts of rankadeede.

While they scream at Church leaders who manage their needy members by investments and other private businesses to be building infrastructure for them as if they were elected into government offices!

We will wake up someday

I still maintain what I said.

A case of corruption against just one professor is no reason to say they are inept.

They are performers by virtue of their wide exposure and sound knowledge... But mostly politicians whether professor or not are corrupt by reason of our country's systemic rot
