It's only when there are communal clashes that we see Ebonyi youths display their bravery and savagery, today Izzi youths will clash with Ezza and they will go to town against each other with all sorts of sophisticated weapons... Effium warriors will invade a community and massacre their own kith and kin... yet these idiots suddenly disappear when herdsmen attack them? same applies to literally every part of the South. Ebonyi state is not made up of only Izzi and Ezza. There is a part of Ebonyi which is Ebonyi south senatorial district made up of Afikpo North, Afikpo South, Ivo, Onicha and Ohaozara. These local governments are bounded by Enugu, Abia and Cross River and yet you'll never hear them fighting among themselves or with their neighboring states 1 Like |

Assuming the 'degenerates' unite to face the common enemy and threat where will they see him when he either don japa go north, or has blended back into the Hausa-Fulani population in the state? Some of the attackers could even be in the army! I don't think the attackers are gathered in Ebonyi forests waiting for Ebonyi youth to come and face them. Also, these are cowardly, sucker-punch attacks we're talking of here, where the villagers are caught unawares.
