The ongoing media noise by Reno Omokri and his comrades as they stage a vexation show on President Buhari at the Abuja house in London labelled #harassbuharioutoflondon is nothing short of the irritant of a fart.

This cacophony of opprobrium gives a sense of deja vu which is not only wrongly timed but also laced with an overdose of pettiness.

His rhetorical grandstanding this time around doesn't seem to sit well with reason.

Is Buhari the only President in the world over with failed promises?

How many presidents gets this kind of embarrassment from their citizens when in the diaspora?

An Octogenarian on a medical trip doesn't deserve this noise and distraction not to mention the nuisance Remo
Omokri has constituted himself into.

President Buhari is still our Commander in chief and he deserves to be respected. His style of governance may not be the best, but please respect the person of the President.

Must we politicise everything? In less than 2 years from now, a new President- elect will be waiting to be sworn in . Why not channel your energy towards getting a better replacement for the President.

Demonstrations certainly doesn't seem like the panacea at this moment. What we need is a revived political consciousness and a well mobilized army of voters ready to cast their votes come 2023.

Southerners are passionate about demonstrations but too lazy to queue on election day. While the North lines up both qualified and underage voters at the polling booths, the sophisticated and educated South would flood the streets with their boots and jerseys playing soccer.

Reno Omokri should rather channel his energy towards 2023 general elections and stop this fruitless embarrassment of our President.

The beauty of democracy is the time limit on each occupant of Aso Villa.

This isn't about holding brief for the President but simple logic.

You should be more concerned why your leaders spend billions on medical tourism instead of building better hospitals in Nigeria.

Thank you o. Don't mind the hypocrite. The slightest call GEJ would make to president of Morocco, the slightest thing he did, APC spinner it around and make a nightmare of every decision. Now, that similar antics is applied to the hypocrites, their foot soldiers can't stomach it.

Nonsensical hypocrisy. APC is dead and buried awaiting cremation

Utter RUBBISH!

On the front page of this forum, there are reports of death of Nigerians due to roads which are more of death traps, absent medical care as a result of strikes by frustrated, overworked healthcare givers, kidnap, rape and killing of citizens by killer herdsmen, bandits and terrorists, worsening poverty indices.
With all these facts, it's unbelievable one would be reasoning politics of bitterness when citizens express their dissatisfaction with the government of the day.

You can label my article" utter rubbish" ,but does it change the fact that Southerners like you prefer to stay on Nairaland on election day rather than going out to vote?

My brother, you have a point there - notably, about the Southerners. There is a huge social crisis and I'm afraid it may not be solved anytime soon.

These people don't know that they have set a precedent.

Every Nigerian President will be treated like this henceforth because no matter how good you are, it is practically improbable to satisfy every citizen.

They think it's Buhari they are doing,

Whether North, or South, our Presidents will be receiving this treatment from now.

Travelling abroad I believe was a personal choice and perhaps a security advice which may not have been premised on the condition of the healthcare sector. Because i'm sure there are competent doctors in well equipped hospitals in Nigeria.

Also remember to show me your gains from this government

Lagos Ibadan expressway and many other A list Federal roads are better and motorable today.
Agriculture has been boosted across board
The railway sector once again has been revived
Just to mention a few

By this , I do not in the slightest way solidarise with the APC regime, truth be told, it underperformed.
However, we must recognize that the President cannot give what he doesn't have. Rather than blame him for his below average performance especially in security and economic management, blame yourself and 15million Nigerians for voting him to office in 2015.
But can you really blame yourself?

Presidents abroad are treated worse
Every future Nigerian president should be disgraced and dehumanised if possible. if that is what it takes to restore much needed sanity in our political space and national life. What rubbish.

We don't need egotistical idiots who want to be worshipped. We need SELFLESS leaders willing to take the RISK to sacrifice for the country. God punish any bastard going into public office in order to answer 'excellency' and form god. If you're not seeking public office with a servant leadership mindset, then stay in your house and enjoy the respect of your children and dependants. Don't come and enjoy our national resources, and yet expect undue 'respect' from the public.

God go punish Buhari and him entire family, and any future president that is not ready to truly serve.

Nothing infuriates me more than hearing an average Nigerian youth saying vote doesn't count and use that as an excuse to disenfranchise themselves yet they won't cease to wail.
Is it your teeth that count!

Bringing Imo scenario into this, how does it justify the fact that vote doesn't count?.

Lots of Educated illiterates.

It can infuriate you as much as you like but it won't change the fact that it is real and happening in your dear country. I used IMO state as an example and left a question for people of your kind. Let me repeat.

You believe in the elections in Nigeria. What do you have to say to imolites who exercised their " franchise" at the poles only for their decision to be thrown away by the supreme court?
