Less than 24 hours after the death of rights activist, Yinka Odumakin, one of Nigeria’s civil society leaders, Innocent Chukwuma, has died. According to a report, the prominent Nigerian died on Saturday evening in Lagos.

The death of Innocent Chukwuma triggered reactions from Nigerians because of his contributions and personality. Not long ago, Senator Shehu Sani took to his Twitter account and reacted. Sharing his tweet, he said, "Innocent Chukwuma; another tragic loss of a patriot. Death hath taken away one of the brightest.May his Soul Rest In Peace".
