No Political Cohesion In APC, Says Ganduje by NwaNimo1(m): 8:28pm On Apr 05, 2021
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has frowned at the lack of strong political cohesion in the ruling All Progressives Congress, making the party to fail in some areas.

He said, ” APC as a party started as a mixture of various elements who tried to make a compound, but unfortunately the party is still a mixture not graduated to make a compound.”

Speaking during the party’s constitutional Town Hall event for Northwest zone in Kano, Monday, Ganduje said “Those who read sciences know that it is easier to remove a mixture but not easy to remove a compound”.

Governor Ganduje warned that, “it is high time we proscribed all Appendixes that come together to formed APC to build a full compound, so that the party will purge together and make the difference regarding the nation’s democratic political party’s needs”.

The Governor further expressed worries that Nigerian democracy has been relegating party structures to the background and parties are only considered when there are elections.

He said, “APC as a party had made a lot of mistakes and paid for it, therefore, it is time to look back and review some of the lapses so that the conducts of Governance could be redressed.”

Governor Ganduje noted that in Kano, his Government was able to put strong party caucuses at State, Local Government and Wards levels and each must meet monthly to pass a resolution for adoption.

Of course what does one expect of a political party that parades the likes of dollar bribe stuffing crooks like Gandollar? So disgusting this man is still talking.

I think you got it wrong by looking at it from a tribal prism instead of the likely intellectual debate in the position of HE Ganduje.
He identified a problem and suggested a way out. The intellectual way to look at it is if or not the problem he identified exists and if his solution is practicable.
Governance is serious business and democracy, rooted in party politics is the vehicle that presents the choices of those to be democratically elected leaders to the electorates. For some of us who witnessed military governments from the assasinated Gen. Murtala Muhammad to Gen Abdulsalami, we know that the worst democratic government is better than the best military government.

In my opinion, it is utopian to think there won't be caucuses in political parties especially in a democracy like ours that plays along regional, tribal and religious lines. The way out is going back to what Ahmadu Bello gave as reply to HE Zik when he told him to forget our tribal differences: "let's understand our differences ".

I think the power blocs in APC need to understand their differences and find where there is allignment in the strength and weakness of each bloc. For example, SW ACN bloc has the corporate Nigeria backing from Lagos and strategy think tank apart from the SW votes but the CPC has the grassroots appeal in the North while APGA/PDP faction has vital Intel and network on the leading oppositions .

Their synergy if pursued and harnessed effectively by a leadership with the qualities of the humble, brilliant master strategist like Asiwaju Tinubu will deliver 2023 Presidency.

Interestingly, far worse was said about PMB. In fact, some of your political mentors like Chief Olabode George even promised to go on exile if PMB wins.
Serial losers will lose again in 2023 and as usual , will eat their words.

Thankfully, the election will not be conducted on the social media where your political mentors have strong paid trolls to massage their ego. 2023 is just around the corner. God willing, Asiwaju Tinubu will win and APC will even remain stronger as a party.

While your negative energy and attention is on Asiwaju and giving me 1001 reasons why you dislike him, sir, you are wasting your valuable time and resources. For every discerning impartial reader to take you serious, let us know who your candidate is for 2023 and let's compare him or her to Asiwaju Tinubu you love to hate.
