Igbo intellectuals talking about 'due process' makes one wonder if they're attuned with the reality in the east (not surprised most of them live in the Lagos bubble)

I'm a believer of Newton's third law; you can't have a reaction without an action preceeding it.
IPOB protested with flags but were met with guns. Recently, Obigbo happened during endsars, and most never made a tweet(or made few tweets) about it(I remember @euginhocortez saying "he's establishing a militia, whatever he sees he should take", and that was before Obigbo), maybe because it didn't fit the endsars narrative.
Most kept quiet, apparently, Rivers is a PDP State, and they are politically lean to PDP.

There were reports of women being raped by security agents and the intellectuals did nothing. Masses are now reacting and they've found there voices to talk about lawlessness and due process.

There's a leadership void, believe it or not, and it's being filled by MNK. The masses, in reality, don't give a Bleep about due process, they're reacting because of Nkpor, Head Bridge, Ụzọ Uwani, Ebonyi, Obigbo etc.

And you can't help but notice how nobody is blaming the FG who caused the reaction, but are quick to demonize Kanu for allegedly picking up arms(even though he's been trying the due process, but has lost his parents and some followers to Nigeria security operatives).

How would these intellectuals had reacted if the struggle were against an apartheid state. I, for one, wouldn't be surprised if they were against their own ethnic militia.

Know this. Nobody has gotten their freedom by merely asking for it or by continously bending for the oppressors; Americans, Jews, Pakistanis, Mexicans, Bangladeshis, Kurds, South Sudanis, South Africans, Kenyans against white settlers, Zimbabweans, Namibians. Because the history of man is the history of oppression.

Like IPOB like Boko Haram. Like Shekau like the IPOB leader. They are both blood thirsty fugitives.
