Queen Amina, the queen of Zazzau emerged at a time when men dominated most aspects of life. The skilful Hausa warrior commanded a vast army that conquered many territories, greatly expanding her kingdom. She's believed to have been born in the 16th century and lived in what is now Zaria City, in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Queen Amina was believed to be the most powerful ever lived female, famous for her war skills and notable for her great feats achieved during the 16th century. Watch the full movie here.
