As compelling as your write up, you are missing the point. This is about doctors welfare & not about hospital/healthcare system money.
I don't think any doctor would like to die of hunger, because he doesn't want a patient to die of sickness.

If they need money, they should go into business or undertake another career. Why undertake a career when you're certain the goal of this career is to save lives and not make money?

have you read the history of medicine, it started from our ancestors who meet with the herbalists or shaman to remedy their health challenges which was linked to demons, spirits and bad omens.

You called me immature and wrote this? For you the history of your ancestors started when they discovered demons?

Nonsense. Our ancestors lived for many million years without herbalists, without no idea of demons and spirits or bad omen.

And why drag my reasoning so low to your level before confronting it? Did I write about medicine or healthcare?

Such a sad state of affairs. Resident doctors constitute about 40% of Doctor population in the country so it has a huge impact.

FG has a duty to address their demands and meet them halfway. Surprisingly states like Abia, Imo and Borno are owing arrears, as much as 20 months in Abia for instance.

Long term, public medical care should be run like a proper business. Medical insurance schemes should be pursued vigorously to take care of access and operational funding. Govt to commit at least 10% of national budget over the next 15 years to Health to address part of the infrastructure gap.

These doctors deserve what they are getting from our useless, senseless and wicked government for not acting when they were supposed to.

They missed it when they didn't go on strike during that lockdown period to press
home all their demands.
people were dying of COVID-19. And they did make these demands to the government during the lockdown.

many people are too poor to afford healthcare as it is. If it is privatised, oh well.

Use american Health care as an example.

So we should kill ourselves for you and die for you. Even the hippocratic oath says we should take care of ourselves.

We are not jesus, neither are we superman.

In an airplane when cabin pressure drops you are advice to put a mask over yourself and save your life before others.
