Buhari is running Nigeria like Idi Amin cheesy..They are now printing empty fiat currencies just so they can loot but they still don't know the implications of this .....chei there is no hope for this economy again .. Zimbabwe and somalia will be a joke by 4th qtr
Mr man, "do not judge book by its cover". I guess you didn't go through the whole story.
This April, we will go to Abuja and share. By the end of this year, our total borrowings is going to be within N15-N16 trillion. Imagine a family that is just borrowing without any means to pay back and nobody is looking at that, everybody is looking at 2023, everybody is blaming Mr. President as if he is a magician,” he said.

Lol, the bastards in government now print money to share as a way of maintaining balance of payments shocked shocked

By the time these bastards are done with Nigeria, we will be using buckets and wheelbarrows filled with naira to buy bread grin grin
cool Reminds me of the Berlin story. After WW2, German currency Deutsche-mark was almost valuless. A certain woman took all her savings in a wheelbarrow to a local bakery, parked it outside and went in for a prolong talk with the Manager of the bakery. She was pleading for a loaf of bread in exchange for her life-savings. Reluctantly, the manager decided to pity her and agreed. On getting outside, the woman found out that a thief had made away with her wheelbarrow after emptying all the Deutsche-mark in it on the ground.

Why didn't you reject your state share of the printed Money if you are really concerned about the economy Mr. Governor?

Every one of you guys is a major contributor to the economic woes in Nigeria. Can you openly tell your people how much was spent in your state last elections?.....

An illiterate like late buhari can spend N90 billion to print N60 billion, just like when he wasted N16 billion to go after Tompolo's N3 billion. Not to mention the $250 million Abacha loot his bloody regime claimed was shared to the poor, only to go and borrow $250 million to fund a power project.
Late buhari's regime is not only the most useless on earth, it's the most useless regime in the history of human civilization.

Most Nigerians don't know what's going on...THIS COUNTRY HAS NO MORE MONEY. They have borrowed last 4yrs to fund the budget mostly recurrent expenditures and now, realizing that they can no longer borrow and no global bank will lend them since the country is heavily collateralized that they have now resulted to illegal money printing to survive.

I can't wait for the money to dry up, that's when Nigerians will know truly what regions can survive without federal allocations.

The current CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele is very complicit in this Racket and he must be made to account for his stewardship, at the appropriate time.

Any smart person should know to convert their immovable Assets into Foreign Current and save in a Domicilliary Account right now, if they dont have a foreign bank account.

Governor Obaseki of Edo state has said that Nigeria could go the way if Argentina if something is not done now to reposition the economy of Nigeria.

He went further to state that the federal government had to print 50-60 billion naira last month and shared to the states to top up on their allocation.

I don't really believe in targeting tribes. Among the Fulanis, there are still bright minds. A good example is el-Rufai. That man is very intelligent, well-educated and smart.

Just like rational people do all over the world, we must focus on competence and antecedents. If not, this country will become another Venezuela, Argentina or Greece. Every Nigerian deserves a shot at leadership. We cannot judge an entire tribe because of the lackluster performance of a docile nonentity.

You are totally correct and I agree with you! BUT, bros, the Fulanis are a rare breed. It's not about incompetence per se, it's about their imperialist intentions all over West Africa. You gave a good example of Elrufai. I used to think along the same line like you. I have followed him for years, .. dude is erudite! No argeument about that. But have you listened to him pontificate on Nigerias politics? Ditto Dambazau the former Army chief, who's a PhD holder btw! It's always all about ethnic dominance. Elrufai threatened to unleash mayhem on Nigerians during the Jonathan's regime because according to him "the Fulani never forgets". The same man was caught paying money to imported Fulani Herdsmen killers! Is that what you expect from someone of his stature? As the FCT minister, he was into land grabbing as well as documenting the percentage of houses owned by different ethnic groups!

It's a cultural thing! The same mentality with the Sarduana! The rest of the country are busy trying to build a great country, the Fulanis are busy trying to build up Niger republic! It's like the Arab-Isrealis... No one questions their natural abilities, but culturally they have chauvinistic mindset and loyalty to foreign territories which is the main reason why treating others in the same country with them with respect is becoming a herculean task. Nigeria has a Fulani problem,.. saying so is not tribalism.. Which other Ethnic groups in Nigeria can ever keep quiet and watch her youths move from community to community, eliminating people in droves and occupying those areas? You hardly hear their elite condemn these but once there is a reprisal attack, they are all over the place threatening fire. It's not coincidence, it's a grand plan to subjugate. They need to stay away from power, otherwise their activities while in power will surely lead this country into a huge conflict..

In the biblical Egypt when money failed, it was due to draught. Ours is due to greed inspired mismanagement. We have water, rain, fertile land, good whether, crude for energy and many thing going but out money is failing or rather faileth like biblical Egypt. What an error.

"I don't care" President Buhari has finally brought Nigeria down on her knees. The selfish and irresponsible governors of South west and south east who could have stood up for restructuring of Nigeria only think about second time and how to get to senate after second time. The country is finished, completely destroyed by politicians in just 22 years of democracy.

See I don't blame PMB as much as those person(s), people or groups of people, tribe and region that think that they are wise, sophisticated and political savvy that voted in this disaster, doing so out of sheer wickedness, hatred and tribalism.

Without them there is high chance that PMB would not have smell the presidency.

I hope and know that they are happy now, because they keep defending this man even here on nairaland in great numbers even going as far as thinking to elect those who were in the forefront in Buhari's campaigns and election.

How can a nation be sooo stupid
Something crossed my mind few minutes ago. Are we sure Buhari has not been removed from power? His medical trip that has now turned into Resting trip is beginning to look suspicious. This is against the backdrop of the British Military personnel that seems to be controlling the Government now in Abuja.

what do u expect from an illegal govt run by an illegal fulani race.

fulanis are hell bent on ruining this country so long as their fulanisation agenda is not hindered.

u can imagine printing money to run an economy!

they have killed the country

all of u that voted this evil to power should wait for ur turn except u repent.

the dumbest thing to do is to be waiting for 2023 when u are not sure if this evil man will not drag Nigeria into the grave before then.

No wonder inflation is in double digits. Still the govt is running deficit budgets. This year they have a 5.6 trillion deficit to be funded by borrowing. As regards the printing of money, he could be that the cbn has devalued the naira to 500/$. But choose not to inform Nigeria. Don't forget the same cbn has lent 25 billion dollars naira equivalent to the govt without informing the senate. Where do you think cbn got the money from. Of course its tru printing. Dats why cbn does not publish its account anymore

How can a man solve a problem that he does not even know that it exists?
Nigerians are licking their wounds already for bringing in a man with zero academic background to come and preside over and whole nation.
He only knows how to consume, but not how to produce.

This is exactly what Jesus said about Nigeria " it is finished".
