They and arik have a good safety record. In fact if arik had compromised safety they’d have been more capitalised than they are today . I believe the ground back up engine (APU ) broke down that day that’s why the AC’s didn’t work on ground that day. It’s an old aircraft and things break down often on old planes . Since they are replacing these old planes with new ones I don’t think they deserved the kind of image bashing they got. But like I said so many people have been against that company for a longtime and will go to any length to pull them down. That’s why they need to get things right ASAP

He was a contractor at the amnesty program and also got lots of contracts from the IOCs . IOCs were using him to get the boys off their facilities and in return paid millions of dollars to his NGOs . But I don’t believe he was a poor man before these contracts came however everyone looks for opportunities to make money and I’m sure if he left his cash in treasury bills and landed properties it would have appreciated with nobody criticising him. Truth is people will always criticise you no matter what you do. They started criticising this man as far back as 2013/2014 when he bought those cheap old planes (737 classics). Many people started this business with cheap old planes and shut down within a few years . Even the almighty arik that started with new aircrafts would have collapsed if not for AMCON. So I don’t see why anyone will give money to someone to setup and manage an airline in Nigeria where airlines die after max 5 - 7 years . There are many other more lucrative and more profitable businesses

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Peace Airlines, Allen Onyema, says it is untrue to say that President Muhammadu Buhari does not like the Igbos.

Onyema defended his viewpoint on Saturday on the grounds that his airline had hugely benefited from the current administration.
