The National Association of Hair and Beauty Practitioners of Nigeria (NAHBPON) is an umbrella body for all who ply their trade in the hair and beauty industry in Nigeria.
It is a trade union registered by the Federal ministry of labour and productivity to regular the industry.
The union has Comrade Barile as its national President who is a trail blazer and a champion who has put all his personal sacrifices to ensure the union is grows to cater for the overall well being of all the players in the industry.
Currently, the union is planning a sensitisation program in Lagos state with her partners such as NAFDAC, SON, EFCC, FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WOMEN AFFAIRS, FEDERAL MINISTRY OF HEALTH, NCDC, Sterling Bank, FCMB etc.
The event is scheduled to take place second week of May, 2021.
The program is geared toward sensitizing the practitioners in the industry in particular and the general public on the activities of the union.
All the practitioners in the industry which include massage therapists, makeup artists, barbers, stylists, braiders and hairdressers, pedicurists and manicurist, beauty products retailers and salon and beauty shop owners.
