America seems to suit the prophecy of the nation that would be consumed by fire at the end times of the Bible. What could America have done to end up destroyed at the end?

The nation is dressed in purple and scarlet. Does this mean leadership?.The nation is also adored with gold and precious stones meaning it is a rich nation.
As for fornication,do you think this is about the sexual immorality,abortion, and homosexuality in America today or is it false religions.

Isn’t America the country who rules the world?.

Mystery Babylon might not even be a country

Mystery Babylon is the world empire of false religion! Her activities started after Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden and it's her children that schemed the killing of God's holy servants from Abel till today! Revelations 17:6 compare to Luke 11:51
Her influence is global {Revelations 17:1, 15} and because of all the blood she has spilled throughout her existence God declared that she will be devastated (destroyed completely) Revelations 17:16-17 compare to Jeremiah 51:13
She always influence the rulers of the earth against pure worship {Revelations 17:18} so that each time God organizes His people to practice pure worship Mystery Babylon sends her Children to disrupt pure worship.
That is why God's word called out to all sincere and honest hearted persons to come out of her if they don't want to partake in her woes {Revelations 18:4} because all those under her will be exterminated after her destruction! Revelations 19:19-21
America today is just like Persia that came all the way to release God's servants from the bondage of Mystery Babylon that's been attacking pure worship. When America declared FREEDOM OF SPEECH, EXPRESSION and WORSHIP it opens the way for pure worship to excel, and with this program America is forcing all the nations where pure worship has been locked up to release God's people from spiritual bondage (with the propagation of freedom of speech, expression and worship America is UNKNOWINGLY helping true Christianity 'pure worship' to reach the remotest part of the earth) now God's sheep as spoken of by Christ Jesus will be opportuned to get the invitation to join their counterpart in all other lands to worship the true God! Matthew 10:6 compare to Act 1:8
Though America in itself is under Satan the devil but God used this country which is the leading nation in the United Nations to free His people from Spiritual bondage, just as He used Cyrus of Persia to free His people from Babylon.
So God will not forget the good work America did to assist His true worshipers, know today that America is not Mystery Babylon rather America is unknowingly fighting the prime enemy of pure worship by advocating FREEDOM OF SPEECH EXPRESSION AND WORSHIP!

They did! By removing prayer from schools, public offices and all, stopping punishment of badly behaved children, Punished preaching, since most Christians were not expecting any attack, they were therefore not deep in their faith, thus they advanced and promoted all over the world their intelligent Anti-God Counters and shallow Christian roots where plucked of in line with the "Parable of the Seeds".

I believe they are the Babylon for look at the plagues they suffer.
