In agreement with the resolution, all our members in all the universities centres are enjoined that the strike would be cancelled, as we expect the federal government to function in good faith based on the Memo of Action.

It's with a big awareness of obligation that we declare the strike to be suspended, effective from Friday evening, the 26th of February, 2021, the two unions announced.

Both SSANU, and NASU pointed out that the government is expected to return the benevolence of the unions, by executing the terms included in the new Memo of Understanding.
