Widow's Mite is a give-back-to-society initiative of Akwa Ibom's foremost female disc jockey, Precious Andrews a.k.a DJ Ritzy. The inaugural edition, held March 5, 2020, at Discovery Park, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, witnessed the empowerment of over 250 widows across the state in celebration of International Women's Day. The event featured skills acquisition for the women, free legal advice, cash support, Health sensitization, and donation of food/fashion items to the women. Through this project, DJ Ritzy was able to reach out to more indigent women in the society with Business Support Funds, Wrappers, Gift packs, Cakes, and many other gift items.
