Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has reconciled the two illustrious sons of Kano and Africa’s business moguls, Aliko Dangote and Abdussamad Isyaka Rabi’u.
A statement on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar, said Ganduje was able to reconcile the two men with the support of the renowned businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, Kano Emirate and the Kano State Council of Imams.
According to Anwar, the reconciliation meeting took place at Kano Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, on Wednesday, putting a stop to reports that the duo were in dispute over the control of sugar in the country.

The statement reads partly, “Both parties, Chairman of Dangote Group of Companies and Chairman BUA Group of Companies, agreed to work together and supply enough sugar to satisfy the demand of the country.

“They also dismissed allegation that Dangote was planning to see to the increase of sugar price by mounting pressure on BUA to succumb to the increment. They described that allegation as baseless and lacking any iota of truth.
“All the two business moguls agreed to work together as brothers for the growth and development of the nation at large, assuring that, henceforth there would be no differences that could cause disharmony between them.”
Others present at the meeting were the Minister for Commerce, Trade and Investment, Mr Niyi Adebayo, representative of the Kano Emirate, Alhaji Aminu Agundi, Chairman of the Council of Kano Imams, Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Adam, the Chief Imam of Sheikh Ahmadu Tijjani Friday Mosque, Kofar Mata, and the Chairman of NEPZA, Adamu Panda. https://punchng.com/ganduje-kano-stakeholders-end-dangote-buas-rift-cps/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter&amp&utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter&__twitter_impression=true
