Hi, I'll try to make this a little short so I don't bore y'all with my story.

Hi, I am a young guy in my mid 20's. I graduated late 2019 and was suppose to go for service right away but due to the covid-19 lockdown and my school lackadaisical attitude in mobilizing us, that didn't happen.

Fast forward to 2021, I now have a viable online business which I built from zero during my final year in school that generates 150k to 250k per month with the potential to expand and increase my monthly earnings.

My school released senate list with my name on it last month but I didn't register for nysc due to my business but I had to lie to my Dad telling him that my name is not yet out on list.

My work doesn't allow me to work with phone alone as I will always need my PC though I can manage by outsourcing my jobs.

Also, I don't know how camp activities will look like but from what I heard, it's stressful and I don't want to through that but my people's are pilling pleasure on me so I need advice on my next move.

Registration is starting again by next week according to nysc portal and I don't have plans of serving, at least not for now but how do I explain this to my family without them thinking that it has something to do with me not passing my exams.

We all know how our African parents use to think when it comes to matters like this but my fear is wasting a whole year all in the name of serving my country.

Anyone who's had the same experience? I really could use your help here. Mature inputs are also welcome.

PS; I'm not living on my own yet because I want to take my time to make enough money and then find a comfortable place that will serve as my home and office till money to rent office come.
