nedekid:

If you are a contractor and they offer you money to go rebuild the school, will you go?
Of course. Are people not living there? Don't people build houses in chibok? Are there no companies, organization, etc there?
Did the government gave the contract out and there was nobody to execute?

Bros forget it... The govt does not want to do it.

In that case, government has no reason not to rebuild.
The impression I had was that chibok was deserted and no sane parent will put their ward in that school after what happened.

How can you build in a place that's still very insecure? It will be foolhardy. It's only wisdom to first secure the region before thinking about rebuilding for obvious reasons. First, in the face of such high level of insecurity or uncertainty about the security there, parents would be reluctant to send their kids there. Second, in such insecure area the militants could attack and destroy what was rebuilt, thus wasting money and resources used to rebuild the place.
I think emphasis should be placed first on the government FIRMLY securing the place, then afterwards focusing on the rebuilding process.

Doesn’t still stop attacks from happening, I believe you feel where you reside is safe? Doesn’t still stop armed robbery from happening & you locking your windows & doors before you go to sleep? So logically your assertion carries no weight.

True, also the school Government Secondary School Chibok is a State owned school & the responsibility of the State Government, not the Federal Government, they should use their share from Federal allocation to rebuild it.

Is Chibok a Federal or Unity School? Rebuilding oiof the school is purely the responsibility of the state ministry of Education. Better still, Ndume should use his constituency project funds to rebuild that school.

Isn't it ironic that the terrorists that destroyed the school have been given amnesty by the same federal government.
