VTJN:
not in UI, university of ibadan assume most students cheat to get their waec grade. Therefore, they don't use that to determine their point of entry mode

They rather set their test, come and prove yourself if truly you worth those distinction you carry up and down in your olevel result
uptill 2011, they used waec to calculate their interview points. Wow, 10years ago. h0w time flies

IAMPEDRO:

Sir, I'm sorry to say this, we are the ones suffering ourselves. Is school not supposed to be a normal thing? Go to the north and see how they beg people to come to school.
They organize test as though they don't welcome bribe.
Yes you are right, the northerners are not too educational inclined. They don't like going to school. Though not all, but the rate of uneducated fellow up north is much more higher than that of the south

They tried to come up with different things that will encourage them just to get them enroll, most of those social and humanitarian empowerment are solely to help push them to school and support them all

But down south, almost everybody want to go to school, unfortunately the school can't admit all because each school has a carrying capacity

Therefore, they are left with no other choice than to scrutinise them to get what they want

Historically, i learnt UI was the first school to come up with the idea of writing post-utme

This happened when some students with all distinctions wasn't able to live up to expectation!

Note that it was just an oral interview then after jamb, not necessarily a written postutme

After such horrible experience, the school management decided to use jamb and postutme, i think their postutme has a higher percentage than that of jamb

They concluded that students cheat easily with olevel exams just to get a better grade (special center) they assume no special centers in jamb CBT and post jamb.

I hope you get that clearly now?
