In a sane clime, Sanwo olu shouldn't have left the Psychiatric hospital where he was receiving treatment to answer Tinubu's call. What's the noise all about? |

blamingthedevil: Lagos ain't only laying tracks down to Iddo to connect the blue line but is also linking the tracks to Ikeja from where the proposed Ikorodu line(s) would emanates. The tracks are also to connect the Airport, a provision not covered in the interstate railroad master plan. All the same, its a brilliant idea that reduces cost for both parties because complimenting infrastructures the state's offering will benefit the federal trains too; as it disallowed intervention of transit from pedestrian and motorists alike. |

EmekaA125: You should rather have your mental health checkup too. Perhaps, we should know explain things better to you. This is more like a partnership procedure. Lagos state is using part of the interstate lines and as a result, she has to provide amenities needed for the smooth running of the system across the lines. These are additional stations ( like 7), pedestrian bridges (5), flyover bridges (5) and ensure periodic maintenance. That's not all, she still has to lay tracks down to Iddo to not only connect Marina but also provide additional link through which containers could move commodities smoothly out of the Apapa port. What's more? The LASG master plan en route Agbado involves a branch off into Ikeja and linking the Airport, a provision not catered for by the FG project, so LASG is laying tracks into Ikeja too hence the reason why the flag off was done where the train tracks would pass at the state capital. The analogy of your logic is akin to saying Cuomo shouldn't have announced and prioritized the $1tr overhaul of the NY transport system since the state has one of the best facilities in the world even in transportation. You might ask yourself, what the heck is he wasting that much resources and energy on? Remember, he made it his new year promise to the state |
