That's true o! Over a year now! But they'll be back after the pandemic is over? I hope not.

I'm not a Muslim. What is good for the goose, is also good for the gander. Any religious organization causing unpardonable nuisance to the public should be called to order. (Read Romans 13:1-7)
Yeah but the road still experience traffic gridlock everyday, even last week, I think the solution is expanding the road.

Since it's obvious the job wasn't done what happens to the money paid to the contractor? Probably nothing because of the beneficiaries.
There is really no difference between APC and PDP.
Infact they have more things in common. Looting is the common denominator.
People looted then, people are looting now and some people who looted then are among those looting now.
And nigeria is almost dead but life goes on.

The PDP and foot and social media soldiers will abandon this thread now that it’s known that their Master paid 151 million for job not done.

You lack the ability to read and comprehend even the simplest of articles. The apology of RCCG was not about when the money was paid to the contractor, but for bringing the matter to public domain.
It was Fashola who claimed the payment was done in 2010 and 2011. And his claim is subject to verification. Because everything about Bubu's regime is full of lies, deceit and propaganda.

Kudos to dem for coming out to admit their erroneous allegations

Fashola is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, he is also a devoted Muslim, so he would have dealt with them without fear of Holy Ghost Fire

It's good they apologized. Some peeps were so quick to castigate the government without actually knowing the fact of the matter.

They abused Fashola and Buhari to no end on the previous thread. Claiming they are fighting fake corruption fight, yet, it was still under the GEJ admin that the money was actually paid.

They've not admitted any wrong allegation. They've apologised for not petitioning the ministry first, before the senate.

As you would see, should you deign to read the text, the substantive facts are admitted by the minister, who merely claims to have been following procedure.

Enice:
following procedure in which year, 2011 or in 2021? twist and turn people,

Is a Minister of Works not an office in perpetuity?

Minister of Works saying he was following procedure in release of funds for a project doesn't necessarily mean the person of Fashola.

Infact, the person making the submission before the senate may not even be Fashola, but a representative of the Minister of Works.

The responsibility of a Minister in a contract is not personally borne by the person occupying the office.

EFCC should retrieve the money. GEJ government shah!
RCCG goofed. The Church allowed their suspicion of HE Fashola as the one behind it to take a better part of their judgment when they could have petitioned the minister and ministry first.
Which EFCC?

Clarifying that both the award of the contract and payment of the said contract sum were made between 2010 and 2011, four years before the Buhari administration came to being, the minister said further that the contract was awarded on December 21, 2010 to the contractor in the sum of N662, 760,771.75 with a commencement date of March 7, 2011 and completion date of November 7, 2011.

On the sum of N151.51 million paid to the contractor, he said the payment made in two tranches, was statutorily made, adding that while the first payment of N99, 414, 115.76, made on March 31, 2011, represented 15 percent of contract sum, the second payment of N52,094,785, made on December 29, 2011, was based on submission of an Interim Statement.”

This and many more of such atrocities that have taken place are the reasons we are in this shit as a country and people think this problems just started.

Look Mr Man or woman, That road is a state road not a FG road. Therefore, the FG has no jurisdiction over the road. The FG was only involve because it was a constituency project.. In such projects, the ministry of work does the costing for BPP but it is the Legislator that awards the project. This was why you heard stories about one Senator having over 300 uncompleted projects because most times they award the project to themselves. Now you guys would always cry witch hunting whenever this government investigates past wrongs so why do you want a minister to start digging up dirts from 2011 in 2021. is the minister in charge of crimes or the police?

2011 to 2015, that's 4 years. 4 years of no payment. so it was Fashola that stop Payment for those 4 years? use your brain o!
