Let's consider a couple of things: It sounds as though the fellow didn't really love the lady for who she was. He wanted "to make her a better person" (emphasis added). And, by the way, he didn't "train" her--it's not as though she's a family pet--but, rather, he paid for her education. All things considered, she didn't end up being the same woman he thought he "loved" so he might well be glad that things didn't work out. Was it clear to all parties involved that his generosity was to be reciprocated with marriage? If such is the case, then that sounds more like a business transaction than true love. Now, did the lady determine before or after her education was complete that she would not marry the man? Was she simply looking for a "meal ticket?" Was this arrangement of her own or of her family's doing? Does this show most graphically that money cannot buy love? |

well since he "trained her" as if being a child then its ok she left, thats what children do after u train them, they leave u and ur household |

@ OP Since you are not her father training her is thesame as wasting or lavishing your resources on investment with higher risk, the possibilities of this lady getting better offer, better suitors are enormous its better for you let her parents discharge their responsibilities on her before you go ahead behaving like father xmas investing in a biz where the return would hardly come    |
