*Declaration of solidarity strike from the table of IPAN!!!*

Greetings to you all our ever reliable colleagues. You will recall that our sister drivers Union in Lagos (PEDPA) are proposing industrial actions to commence in both Lagos and Abuja on the 19th April, 2021.

Some of their demands are as follows:


*Here is Our five points Demands we Immediately require E-hailing App Companies to Review.!*


*1. Immediate and Proper Profiling of all Riders patronizing our Services*


*2. Immediate Joint Upwards review of the Fare to meet the current Economy reality. THERE MUST BE UNIFORM PRICE ACCROSS BOARD*

1000 Minimum fare.


*3. Immediate Review of All accounts blocked unjustifiably .*


*4. Adequate Welfare packages for Drivers and compensation to the family of those that lost their lives or permanently disabled .!*


*5. No more Individual Engagement, all Policies must be reviewed by Driver Union before enacted.*

In view of the fact that we are subjected to the same inhuman treatment by Bolt in Ibadan with our own peculiar challenges, We are therefore also interested in the fight against the tyranny of the apps companies in Nigeria.

The strike commences on Monday 19th April and ends on Sunday 25th of April 2021.

We are all enjoined to comply irrespective of the difficulties these may pose. Let's suffer for few days to avoid suffering forever.....

Our members on HP and rentals should discuss with their respective partners/owners in order to be on the same page and possibly drop off the cars for one week as you won't be able to meet up with financial remittance/obligations for the week.
